ART EXHIBITIONS & PROJECTS

The Mourning Shechinah: An October 7 Memorial Tallit
The Vilna Shul, Boston; traveling exhibition & artist talks | 2025–present
A textile meditation on grief, memory, and the Divine Presence created in response to October 7. First exhibited as part of Holy Threads at The Vilna Shul, the work has since continued as a traveling exhibition accompanied by artist talks and facilitated conversations about grief, symbolism, memory, and communal mourning. It has been presented at Temple Beth Shalom, Hebrew SeniorLife, Temple B'nai Brith, and other Jewish community settings.

Holy Threads: An Artistic Exploration of the High Holidays
The Vilna Shul, Boston | 2025
A two-person exhibition exploring the tallit as both an inherited ritual object and a contemporary mode of artistic expression. The work draws on the tallit’s ability to connect us across generations through Jewish history, memory, and tradition, while reclaiming sacred space for those who have historically been excluded from public prayer, particularly women and members of the LGBTQ+ community. The exhibition also included The Mourning Shechinah, bringing textile, memory, ritual, and the creation of something new from within an inherited tradition into conversation.

Shechinah: Mediations on the Divine Presence
Mayyim Hayyim Living Waters Community Mikveh, Newton | Spring–Summer 2025
A solo exhibition exploring the Shechinah, the indwelling Divine Presence, through a range of fiber media. The exhibition included fabric-collage meditations, beaded landscapes, tallitot, and quilted wall hangings, using texture, color, and textile practice to explore presence, memory, embodiment, and Jewish spiritual imagery.
